Paul Neuman graduated with a BFA from Alfred University with a concentration in sculpture and glass.
He maintains a studio in Kent, Ct. where in addition to making art he designs furniture, building toys and puzzles.
Paul’s other interests include folk art and toy design.
My current two-dimensional work is influenced by an interest in game boards, quilts and folk art. I am exploring positive and negative space and the influence of color and shape.
My lamps are assemblages of diverse found materials into singular, coherent columns.
Some are abstractions of the human form while others are more architectural. All are designed to function well as lighting.
